Very nice and good glasses frames to pick from! I was with Dr. Fisher she is very nice and helpful! I had no problem picking out my frames because of my lady who helped me. She told me which pairs I looked good in and why! I had a very good experience and I highly recommend York.

With a childhood history of eye health complications and high far sightedness, I am very happy with how the doctors and staff take the time and care to make sure my prescription is 100% every time. The optical staff is through in filling of the prescription and have an awesome frame selection. They even help me keep my lenses from being too thick and heavy

York Eye Associates have a very nice and modern facility In Gainesville. When I walked in for my appointment, a check-up was due and changing vision in my right eye was my reason, I was immediately asked how they could help me. Having completed my registration on line, there wasn’t much to checking in except the recording of insurance information and a final form to complete. After waiting for a few minutes in a very nice and comfortable waiting area, a young assistant took me to the testing area. They have numerous modern testing devices and the technician was quite adept at putting me through my procedure. We proceeded to the final testing room where the DO used the phoropter to determine my prescription. You know, that machine where you get to say over and over which of two visual options is the clearest. My vision had changed enough to generate new prescriptions for my glasses. The DO touched on macular degeneration and discussed what she was seeing on the inside imaging of my eyeballs; that image is something to see. That led me to the fitting and selection of frames. Pretty straight forward for me because I wasn’t looking to change the style I had worn for quite some time. Then I got to pay for the session and now await my new glasses.
